The Bay Hotel was outstanding. We were spolied, with excellent service and a lovely sea view room. The breakfasts were good, and the location ideal. We would go back anytime in a flash.
The gym could be better for a hotel of this standard. Acceptable, not great. I suppose they think that no one will use a gym when you have camps Bay outside!

I stayed in a King Room with Mountain View. The room was decent-sized and comfy. Loved the balcony that overlooked the pool, perfect for morning coffee. Bathroom was nice too, although the shower could've used better drainage since it tended to flood a bit. The beds were really soft. Just a bit dated overall, but nothing too distracting.

All of it! The location was perfect. Our room overlooked both the sea and the mountain. The views from the restaurant and Traders bar were fabulous. We were looked after to the highest standard.

Absolutely loved the fine views from my spacious room! The beach is just a stone's throw away, and the hop-on-hop-off bus was super convenient for sightseeing. The cocktails by the pool were a fab touch, darling!
On the flip side, my laundry went on a little adventure of its own-no idea where it ended up! If waiting for dinner was an Olympic sport, I'd have taken home the gold.

Lovely location right across from the beach. Enjoyed the multiple pools but the breakfast area was chaotic and disorganized. Clean rooms and helpful staff.

The location is superb as you have restaurants, beach and a good hotel swimming pool all on your doorstep.
I felt that I would have preferred my breakfast served to me and not buffet style.

Excerllent location, very comfortable and clean room, nice finish and decoration matching with seaside, quiet but convinient with shops, bars and retaurants within walking distance.
Against to the price and rank of hotel, the breakfast shall have plenty of choices and also be free of charge, however, only buffet is free with limited choice and others, specially hot food will be charged.

Stayed often years ago _ still excellent!
We were not advised main restaurant not available for dinner - winter problem I guess The so called deli was not great , more a limited coffee shop with a very odd menu . I tried one meal which took 75 minutes ( yes 75) to arrive and was then not what the menu said ! Better do nothing in that area I think Desk recommended the Codfather nearby for dinner with some guests - just awful . Noisy , poor food and expensive - tiger prawns at about r115 each were tough dry and not good . Fish in the display cabinet we chose from looked like they had been there a long while , quite tired !! We are used to very large towells in a place like this - small bath towells were eally a surprise

Amazing place with great amenities like free wi-fi, a fitness center, and a heated swimming pool. They helped me find my lost necklace on my first visit, and staff like Luzuko are always friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return for a city break!

It is in the perfect location - in easy reach of Capetown also the winelands and the glorious coastline to Start Point. The staff are excellent and the food very good. It is a very relaxing hotel and I was very loathe to leave wishing another few days stay.
